Food was terrible. Chicken tasted like soap. Pasta bland and expensive. Tables crammed together. Wine mediocre. Went for our anniversary. Very disappointed
Dined outside with family. Wasn't a busy night, but were served in a hurry. Probably assumed we would eat and leave quickly? Were not offered drinks, appetizers, specials, or the wine list. Bread was late. Whilst food a little above average, wine by the glass/Prosecco of poor quality, Tiramisu very bad. Banana ice cream was the best part of dinner. Really Overpriced and poor experience Will not return
Lovely place but the food was awful. My ribeye was bland as was my dining partner. The ribeye tasted like it was boiled in bad water. Zero flavor. Adding mushrooms on top of a steak a bad idea as they retain waiter. Ribeyes are 55.00 so it was a 110.00 disappointment.
Service was so slow. Big turn off. The food was good but It tasted like it had sat under heat lamp after being prepared. Took twenty minutes to get my glass of wine. The blood orange margarita was nothing special and definitely not worth $17. The waiter tried to describe how the branzino was prepared and it wasn’t accurate so we ordered the sword fish which was disappointing. Food was eh. Got wine spilled all over my friend and still got charged for it even though the glass was broken right in front of her, no big deal, people make mistakes but at least comp the glass. Seats outside were all dirty and my dress got all black. Service was pretty good but wouldn’t return for the bland food.
I am a San Diego local and have loved this place in the past but everytime we have problems with the service and usually the good food offsets the bad service. My last experience was horrible in both aspects with a 3.5 hour dinner and only 15 min spent eating. All of our time was spent waiting and even had our food come cold and our appetizers forgot about. Restaurant was very dirty. The waitress was very nice but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. I felt like it was average food and extremely overpriced. The calamari was not cooked and very chewy. The shrimp was raw and not the best quality. Was really hoping to have a great meal since it was recommended by Amex. Very disappointing
It wasn't that busy, probably 70% capacity, but the FOH staff was not very attentive and sometimes even rude. The food was decent, but overpriced (not unlike other restaurants in the area though). Overall not a great experience because of the rudeness.
Service was very bad and overshadowed the whole experience. I won’t be returning.
