I went on dec 30 but they decided to cut their menu by more than half and charge up the prices on the items they kept from their regular menu by 30-40%. They said it was due to it being new years but dec 30 is not new years lol and i think it was wrong to charge so much more on food items that are featured year round at a lower price. I only had drinks and left. The server was nice and understanding, it wasnt his fault.

Did not inform customers of menu change and then was unwilling to make accommodations for allergies due to their limited menu

We ordered the Sea Bass and Gnocchi and they were both disgusting. The service was marginal and they don’t care because they have an automatic 18% gratuity built into the bill. We didn’t eat the food but paid in full. We had to walk and have pizza down the street.

I ordered Salmon for dinner and it was a little dry. I was expecting a special taste to it since the description on the menu sounded very appealing but became disappointed when I took the first couple of bites. The vegetables actually were tastier than the salmon. Service was mediocre. It took a while for our waiter to realize our drinks were empty. I think he was waiting on too many tables at the same time.

We ate at Allegro on Christmas day, and overall it was an experience that we just had to laugh about. First, reservations didn't seem to matter, we still waited outside for 15-20 minutes along with some walk-ins and other people with reservations. The restaurant was bustling, and though the servers and bussers were all trying hard/hustling it took a very long time to get service, including water to start and coffee at the end. Terrible service by the wait staff…they sat us 20 mins late because they overbooked the table…took forever to get bread, barely showed up to the table..not the best customer service..food was outstanding.

Tonight’s meal was the absolute worst dining experience I’ve had in my life. What made it worse was the absolute lack of accountability by ANYONE at this restaurant. Waiting 50 min for your drinks, 75 min for your first course and then being served watered down drinks and cold food is not ok. The waitstaff and management were avoiding eye contact as they knew there was nothing they could do. It was Christmas dinner, a $65 pre fix meal served cold and then a frozen dessert to top it off. First of all they sat us in this corner where they put all the dirty glasses… staff kept walking by and breaking them so there was glass everywhere. The seat my boyfriend was sat in was wet so poor guys pants were soaked the whole time but he was too nice to say anything. The manager tried to give us lemon drop shots (guess we looked like college kids) bc he knew were were annoyed but we don’t drink so blah. Food was cold and everything took FOREVER.
