I think it’s because they are new, but our food was cold and the glasses and plates were dirty.
Food was mediocre at best. Served lukewarm and under seasoned. Very small portions too and overpriced for what you get. Waiter was meh and forgot my friends complimentary bday cake slice for her big day. I had the lobster ravioli it was just ok. My friend got the salmon-smallest Piece vet with just a little bit of veggies. The baked oysters tasted about funky and I was scared to even consume them. I will say the Cabernet Sauvignon was delicious though. Bottome line, Go elsewhere.
We had a reservation for 7:30, but when we checked in with the hostess, we were told to wait in line next to the stand. It seemed as if they had no reservation system, and everyone else in line with us also had a reservation. We ultimately waited 45 minutes to be seated, despite showing up on time for our reservation. Could have got the same quality of Italian at Fazili’s for a fraction. Waitress wouldn’t bring bread out until I ordered a meal. To many other good restaurants in little Italy with much better food and service.
The food was sub-par. My food came to the table cold and it looked unappetizing the way it was "plated." The waiter did take it back and I got another fresh meal. The second plate appeared greasy and the outer part of the fish was partially cooked, but the inside was not cooked enough. We just couldn’t get in ! There was a super long line of “reservations”! . We were standing in line for about 20 min until we decided to leave. Horrible service! Why do they take reservations if they won’t respect them? .
Inconsistency in their entire business model. You wait in line with walk-ins, even if you have a reservation. We ordered burrata, got a ball of mozzarella that they were trying to convince us as “homemade burrata mozzarella”. Ordered carbonara and the bucatini was stiff - you would think an Italian restaurant can cook pasta correctly at the very least.
Food was just ok, not memorable. Music was way too loud, so hard to hear the person next to you.
Waitress did not have knowledge on what no diary/ cheese meant. She argued with us on our food and also when it came to our bill. She overcharged us 60dls. I asked for Happy Hour prices and her response was “ oh I didn’t see you looking at the Happy Hour menu”. Obviously she was trying to get a larger tip which I understand but overcharging and taking advantage of the customers is not the way to run business.
