"SquareTrade is OFF THE HOOK!!! Xbox 360 died, RROD. Started with great support emailing step-by-step instructions to try to fix problem and to get disc out of stuck tray. Reps were friendly and professional. Was able to get disc, but Xbox still dead. Return shipping label was instantly send. UPS picked up package around 2pm and refund money ($199.99) was in PayPal account by 7:30pm the same day. OUTSTANDING! That's a lot of good stuff from them for a warranty that only cost $16.79. "This is like the best warranty company I have ever used. I purchased an Xbox 360 in December of 2010, that Xbox broke in early January of 2012. I contacted Xbox support and they refused to even help me as they said I purchased the xbox back in 2007... which is completely crazy. Anyway, I forgot that I had my squaretrade warranty and then I remember purchasing it using a coupon code (they have 30% off codes all of the time) Started the warranty process, shipped my xbox off to squaretrade and the NEXT day I was sent my check.... read more
"I was leary of buying warranty from a company I hadn't heard of, but decided to purchase when I saw how reasonable their prices were and they adjusted their amount based on the value of the item. I hoped I never needed to file a claim, but since I was purchasing an electronic item, I knew it would be wise to do so.
