It took filing claims 4 times before they helped. I still haven’t received the promised payment. My recliner hasn’t worked for over a year. I’m 70 years old and I need a chair that works!

Taking way too long. Still not fixed.
1. Initial steps to determine the TV was defective took about one hour. Lost my programming as process required a reset to manufacturer setting, then had to reprogram TV to my setting. 2. New TV arrived defective. Required two adults to set-up the heavy TV, then found that the TV was defective. Determined after speaking to name-brand technician. Required 2 hours of time. 3. Now, again, waiting for response from Allstate Protection personnel for next step. Will be satisfied when my purchase price monies returned.
Hard to make claims,,they never pay out what they say they will if at all.
It's sad that I have to provide a receipt from an action figure that's $20 from 2022. They have the receipt information because when I purchased the toy the receipt automatically connects with the plan . This is really sad then you want pictures of the time , a serial number which doesn't come on the toy it was just to much for $20
They approved a check to cover the defective system but it was price without tax .?. They said upload the receipt due new one and we’ll give you the difference so I did .They gave me the tax from the first one and said we’re done , not giving you the difference after speaking with car and a manager . I’m done with Allstate protection plans ! I’ve bought a bunch but only used one . I appreciate them refunding first one but don’t appreciate being given the wrong info !!
I was told that I needed to completely defrost the refrigerator for 24 hours and then start it to determine if the ice-maker worked again. If not, call back for service information. I do not have the refrigeration to keep my cold and frozen foods safe to do what was asked. Therefore, I am using plastic ice cube trays to make ice. I will not purchase this brand (Whirlpool) again and not spend the insurance for this type of service.
