It's important to have all information with receipt numbers UPC info and packaging if possible. Also have a bank account cause the bank associated with reimbursing the funds will charge you ten dollars to cash it at their establishment. So if there is a option of a store credit at least it will be closer to full funds then losing a percentage
After taking several photos, talking to chat support, then doing a call over the phone. My protection plan was honored.

The zipper broke on the leather backpack that we bought our granddaughter and we are thankful that we had SquareTrade insurance/Allstate. It didn’t take long for them to resolve this issue with a refund.
Insurance companies, making it work a little harder in order for you to be able to collect on your insurance. And I don’t think it’s a fair to credit via through Walmart. If you choose not to purchase from them again, you should be able to take your money and go wherever.
