I had to file a claim for my tv and took all the steps I needed to do but it was taking longer than expected so I called to check the status of my claim and writhing 24 hours customer service was able to get my claim going faster and I received my replacement tv pretty fast.
That spill on my laptop shorted it. Sent it to Allstate 4 repairs. Unable to repair. Sent me a check to buy a replacement. Went very smoothly. Took maybe a week total. I've been with allstate/square trade for a decade or two. Never had any issue. Always as good as their word.
It was an easy process. I got the money in less than a week
