I had a great experience. The website was easy to navigate. It didn't take long to get a response back on my claim and it didn't take long to get my refund.
I had an issue where Sams Club had missed a letter in my e-mail which prevented my extended warranties to tie in to my account. Once we resolved that issue Allstate was quick to review and cover my purchase. Very pleased with their diligence and rapid result.
I purchased an item with the protection plan. I'm glad I did. I had the item for around 3 months but had only used it a few times. It stopped working correctly. I contacted Allstate who referred me to the merchant because it should have still been covered by the merchant. The merchant would not respond to me after SEVERAL attempts. I got back with Allstate and they assisted me the same day and refunded my money. No hassle, no problem!!!
Allstate initially could not find my "Plan Number" which created a delay. After a few days of research, and help from Sam's Club, they located my plan/policy and the claim proceeded without any issues. I am glad i keep all my emails and receipts for my records.
It's a bit of a long story but here goes: I purchased vintage audio electronics unit ono e-Bay. The electronic unit was discontinued by the manufacturer long ago. I purchased a 2 year Protection Plan through e-Bay with the unit. The unit malfunctioned and after relatively short period of inquiry over the phone Allstate agreed they would repair the unit and if that failed they would provide a refund.
