It took me over six months to actually complete the claim. I'd begun and even had the shipping label printed. Then my husband had data safety issues he needed help with at a computer shop and took his (same style, same date purchased) in where they discovered his battery was ballooning. I had brought mine along for their opinion and the battery on mine was the same, in addition to the hinge that had always been tight/sticking had cracked within 6 months and I could no longer close it. My all in one HP computer would not turn on. I bought it 2 years ago and also insurance. On YouTube several videos said it was a common problem with that model. I had kept the box and packaging and they emailed me a label. I sent it via FedEx and they fixed and returned it in a week or so. There were files on it that I didn't back up so I was really happy. It's working well now.
Easy to file, and quick settlement.
Issue was considered carefully for appropriate resolution,
I was not aware that the price of the items would be reduced by the time it worked it before it stop working.
I had a situation where my washer needed a repair. The warranty service company was not able to furnish the repair, due to lack of employees, or may have been a closed business due to the pandemic. After waiting for 3 weeks for additional response from repair service, I called All-State back, told them my issue. The service rep informed me that they would reimburse the price of washer to me. Quite a surprise! No hassle! Plus polite and courteous throughout.
Me and my husband have our phone's insured through allstate, within a year my husband broke 2 phones. We called allstate let them know our situation and with no questions asked, we pay our deductible and they send us a shipping label. If for whatever reason they don't have the parts to repair it they will send a check or a gift card for the amount of a phone.

Home purifier that I purchased on eBay broke. I have the Allstate/SquareTrade extended warranty plan and I received about 85% of what it would cost me to replace the air purifier, which is good because it worked nearly 2 years. I would buy it again and recommend it too. I wish I could have skipped the online claim process, which didn't work or make sense, I speak directly with their US Based customer service members--I had to google their number, as they don't list it anywhere on their site.
