After contacting SquareTrade and following the troubleshooting steps I was asked of while on the phone, the tech sent me a email. Last part of the process was to take a few photos of my tv that was damaged. I called 2/6/2020. The new TV was delivered 2/9/2020 on a Sunday at that. I’m not easily impressed.

The experience of using the insurance policy for the cell phone was pretty good. It took several calls and chats online to get through the entire process after the phone broke and the Apple Genius Bar said the phone needed to be replaced. It was easy to reach someone at Square Trade. Once I submitted the requested documents online, I received a gift card for the expected amount the next day.
