Been having trouble my system since winter. It was looked at and repaired, yet it just limped along. It would run constantly, but never actually heating or cooling efficiently. It breathed it's final breath last week. Today Jason from Alpine came in and in a short period of time found the issue. Capacitor. Out came the old one and in with the new. Air is on and it feels cooooool!!! Yippeeeee! Anyhoo...Jason was friendly and even put little booties over his shoes!

Had alpine come give us a estimate on replacement of heat and air and was told that we were going to get our ducts cleaned for free. We'll after we had the system installed they said oh that's a 900.00 cleaning and sorry but we are not doing it! (After we had a 17,500 system installed) we won't be using alpine again! Don't like liars!

Wife's wedding ring and her mothers wedding ring she wears and 2 padlocks plus 2 10 ft bike cables went missing while they replaced our furnace and the replacement was set up while we were gone on a trip and was told that would be perfect time as we would not be in the way for the 2 day replacement

Our Alpine‑installed Lennox HVAC system failed after only five years when the compressor motor died. Even though the part was fully covered under warranty, Alpine insisted we pay for the labor, $1,100 in refrigerant, and the $125 service fee. When I questioned the charges, they simply threw the warranty at me and pointed to the line saying refrigerant isn't covered -- as if that excused a failure that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Their original bill came to $1,750 for a problem that wasn't ours to begin with. ... read more

Warning!!! Read the reviews and look at the star ratings I've given this company multiple chances and thousands of dollars. They do not value your time, nor do they provide quality work without being monitored. They have cost me hours and hours of time and this last time they gave me a window of 2:00-4:00 for a service appointment. I left work to make sure I was home by 2:00. At 3:58 I got a text the person was on the way. I called and asked what "on the way" meant to them. They said he was just leaving Cottage Grove. I live... read more

We called to have our heater worked on. One of the workers walked out with a $1000.00 camera. When I called the owner he stated I am sure you will find it. This has happened before and the item was found. Let me add it's really difficult to misplace a professional camera. There was never any attempt made by Alpine to make this right. NEVER would I let them in my house again.

Two stars are only for the fine women doing the dispatching, especially April, who deserve better than the, smirking, angry jerk the company sent out to inspect my home. Wait, did I say inspect? This guy did absolutely nothing of the kind. Instead, he lectured me about the impossibility of my problem (a nearby neighbor's noxious cooking and charcoal grilling odors seeping through my vents and window frames). How and why is that impossible? It's only that he didn't want to deal with it and (mostly) didn't want to deal wit... read more

Business response:

Susan, I'm sorry but there was nothing we can do for the smells coming from your neighbors yard. You did not have any duct work we could investigate and or seal. Normally we would investigate ductwork leakage and address those issues to ensure you aren't getting particulates from your attic or crawl space into your air stream. The smells are coming through your attic eve vents, windows etc. There is nothing we can do about this except recommend sealing those areas and not opening windows. We observed a open window in your ho... read more

5 weeks for a rough in?! Hard to put into words how frustrating our experience with Alpine has been. They started rough-in on our second story addition September 16, and finished October 17. That's 5 weeks to do a rough in I was initially told would take around 5 days. Rescheduled us over and over and over until I called and broke down in tears out of frustration; their response--from both the install scheduler and the install manager--was that they didn't realize this job "had any urgency". So if I hadn't called several ti... read more

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We understand how important clear communication and timely service are, especially on complex projects like yours. We want to share that many of the scheduling and logistical challenges were influenced by factors related to the general contractor’s coordination, which sometimes impacted our ability to maintain the original timeline. We always strive to provide professional and quality service, and we appreciate your patience as we worked through those challenges. While... read more

Unsure why my previous review was removed. I was unsatisfied with this company's service based upon treatment from the tech (told me his name was Drew) and the high price to repair my furnace at my home.
