There's literally water coming down into my bathroom and hallway from the ceiling as I write this. When I called the maintenance emergency line, they asked me if my name was 'Janelle' (no) and if I know who lives near me....and only after these asinine questions did they file the request. I've been living here just over 3 months and during that time I've needed to get my toilet fixed, a hole in the wall in my closet covered, AC repaired, electrical rebooted, and other odds and ends. I have been waiting a while to write this. I don't typically write reviews and would say I am a pretty forgiving person but I want to save anyone from the absolute train wreck of an apartment complex this place is. Let me start of saying DO NOT MOVE HERE WHATEVER YOU DO. Take your chances living literally anywhere else before you move here. I would like to highlight the key issues before going into detail below. 3 month review: I've had quite a number of people contact me so an update will be easier. No one... I mean not one soul in this building has contacted me about this. Goes to show how little they truly care about their tenants. My apartment still does randomly smell like sewer. It is getting colder so people are allowing their pets to use the bathroom in my hallway, without being cleaned up. The dog park always smelled like piss. My review was removed or hidden that should tell you more than enough. Do not move into this complex. Please see my comments regarding this property below, update as of 12/8/2020: Today, I was told I would not be receiving my deposit. I did have a tv mounted which caused some scratching on the walls as well as holes that could have easily been tended too. Cool. However, you won't be returning any of my deposit?? My apartment in no way was trashed. I am very immaculate and clean. Outside of normal wear and tear after a year,... read more

Like many people who have previously reviewed this property, I had high hopes for this place but the quality has drastically declined. - The exterior doors never seem to work with the FOB - The doors to the dog run are always broken - The floors are often dirty from people spilling things or their dog peeing on the ground (i know that's not a reflection on the staff but it is a reflection on the type of people you'd be living with) - Very few people in the hallways/elevators wear masks. I moved into Amelia early this year and it has been the most terrible experience I have had living in an apartment complex. Since living here I have had 5 different instances where my key has not worked (they use smart keys with motion detection) and have had to wait outside of my apartment for 30 minutes at a time waiting to be let in. This has happened at all hours including night time. I am a single mom to a 3 year old and one time my daughter nearly peed her pants waiting for someone to come fix the lock. I've reached my year living here this month (August), sad to say I was an idiot signing for 15 months instead of the 1 year. I had such high hopes for this complex, but was fooled into thinking things were just a work in progress when I moved in. I moved in before the building had its 'official' opening, so when I moved in and doors were constantly broken, fobs never worked, amenities were not finished; I was told they hoped to be fully functional by September! Poor customer service. First time we called the lady at the front office told us we could come in for a tour. After going in and waiting 30 minutes we ended up calling again just so they can tell us they weren't doing in person tours & that we weren't in there system. Today we tried calling again for our virtual tour after not receiving a call back after the appointment that was made- and than they told us " we weren't on the system for the second time."
