I called to schedule somebody to come look at my lawn. I believed I was talking with a different landscape company that I know and trust. As it turns out, American has been able to take the phone number of a different landscape company and is using it to steal business when people call. I was very very clear that I was calling for a specific person and asked for him by name. I have worked with this company for years. My salesman is a tremendous guys as well. Therein lies this issue that has made me decide to never do business with them again! We purchased a fence once again from them last fall, paid per contract as we always have. After we moved in they finished up and then I had some very severe medical issues which required multiple MRI's resulting in thousands of dollars in medical bills due. Absolutely terrible. Now going on 10 weeks and they just showed up to build fence. They have ignored phone calls and emails!! Do not use this company.
What an experience. Not a good experience in any way. Late starting the job, bad workmanship and not done according to our requirements. Here we are two months later and no caps on the posts and the gates need to be redone. We have called them numerous times and there has been no follow up on their part. We would not recommend this company to anyone.
Avoid at any and all costs doing business with American Fence Company. We had them install a chain link fence at our house and regret it more than you could ever imagine. June 16, 2016: we had Andy measure our yard and give an estimate. Jume 27, 2016: we paid 60% of the cost, and was told it would be three or so weeks before they could install the fence.
