They don’t pick reliable companies. My problem could’ve been beeen solved sooner if they did a follow up and not me having to reach back out to get work done.

I've had AHS for 23 years. They've replaced a couple of hot water heaters and provided small repairs. But when my 30+ year AC needed to be replaced, all they'd do is continue to band-aid it...for months and months. Finally, due to chronic lung issues, I had to pay over $7,000 for a new unit and AHS only reimbursed me a couple of hundred. (Without a dependable AC unit, I'd likely end up being hospitalized. Lung patients don't fare well without AC in the heat of the summer in Texas.)

When my policy renewed, it was significantly higher than the prior year and I called to cancel. I was offered a retention incentive that reduced my overall annual expense to the same amount as the prior year. However, I just checked my account and none of the promised adjustments were made; the most recently payment is still the same, higher amount. I liked my service until this issue came up.
