American Home Shield has been both positive and a little negative. They fixed our air conditioning unit and it works beautifully. They have been working on repairing the refrigerator since last September. Both the refrigerator and freezer are functioning well now. The plate on the front of the refrigerator around the water and ice dispenser remains loose and the refrigerator still has not been pushed back into the proper place. Thank goodness that I finally signed up for my home shield. My refrigerator was throwing off the rest of the electricity. My technician came and within a few minutes, figured it was my ice maker that was giving me a run for my money. The whole thing was back to working order within a few days. The price was only what I paid for the service. One price , no gimmick.
