Doesn’t always cover things that quit working. For example, when we bought our house the garbage disposal worked. Shortly after, it quit working and American Homeshield said they wouldn’t replace it because it was old and rusty. I looked at it and it was not rusted. I don’t know how old our disposal is, but it should have been covered.

Good service to have after purchasing a home. Filed to claims for service and AHS was extremely helpful and saved us several hundred dollars.

I chose AHW because I think their the best and they cover more. Some companies put low dollar caps on items like AC, my plan does not. They also have a fast response time which is very important.
