American Home Shield in itself has good response to our needs, however we have had experience with one plumbing company who is difficult to contact and basically are non-responsive. On the last service request I ended up arranging for a different plumber who was prompt, courteous and great service.

Needing electric and plumbing. Last year guy came out that did both. This time said they can't do it without additional 100.00 fee.had to call ac guy after being told they won't cover ours. Electrician out once and said he couldn't work on it because it required running some new wire and outlet..did fix toilet and garbage disposal

They are a good company. Always quick to respond after a request is entered. The only reason for the 4 is that the AC company that they contracted didn't come for 3 days after I put the request in. So, no AC for 3 days in 100 degree weather.

For the most part AHS was responsive when a claim arose. Wait times on the phone were unacceptable, and sometimes finding authorized service companies in our area was a challenge.
