I just started with American Home Shield. So far I've been very impressed with the coverage. Seems they send out reasonably good service people. AHS is very prompt in responding. So far so good.

The response we received from our local AC company, Beaches Heating and Air, has been wonderful, but American Home Shield has been disappointing with correcting a repeated problem (have had to request problems several times for the same AC and electrical problem). We're wondering how many times it takes until they replace, rather than repair, over and over, the same issue? It gets really frustrating.
Their patience in helping me to get a clear understanding of the services that I needed and their ability to provide those services. I'm awaiting the scheduling of the date my furnace will be replaced and I'm excited !!

They made it easy to purchase 2 appliances that broke about 3 weeks apart.

I didn't like that they raised my rate without notification. They sent an email about 3 days after charging me the new higher rate. That is poor business practice. At least 30 day heads up would be appropriate
Our AC broke on Monday evening and they got it fixed within a week. Marcus/Tyler the technicians were respectful and quick! April the dispatcher was very accommodating and got the techs out quickly!
