I have received 2 emails wanting my review. The product seems good, the customer service is not good, I purchased from the headquarters or what I assumed was out of *****. The company salesman was always available before purchasing however he became a ghost after the deposit and during the build, the only communication I had after deposit was with a person for scheduling, the dates were changed twice. The install was two weeks late. They lied about the install date to make the sale. The install was bad, they used bricks they found around my yard to level one side of the building. None of the installers could speak English. They left screws and scrap medal on the grass. I would recommend this company to anyone.
I have a rv cover upside down on top of a boat and truck installed by these people and was told I didn't pay for a warranty that was never offered. These are often sold through a 3rd party so buyer beware. They do not stand behind these products. I suggest you not stand any where near or under one either. Poor business.
Good quality carport. Installers were great and very professional. Scheduling department not very good. We were told they would not schedule the building until they had at least $20000 in sales in the area. Sales person ****** told us it would be installed within 4 weeks. Not so, After several call to schedule the building & try to encourage them to get it started as promised, I spoke with the scheduler whom told me they were waiting on us to call to let them know the site was ready!!!!! They are the most terrible company I ever dealt with. They lied to knowing I knew nothing about an overhang. They took a vantage of the situation so now I have a overhang that will not fit my boat, and this is ***************. they are not known for good customer service.Would not refer this company to anybody American made carport
Great job on the initial installation, but they did not have my walk-in door and promised to bring it later. In about two weeks they showed up with the wrong door. I was told it might be another week before they could bring the correct door. Since then, I have had very little communication and no indication of when they might bring the correct door. I can understand delays and tolerate them as long as I know what is happening, but this lack of communication has me frustrated and concerned that I might never get my door.
I loved our building that we did buy. I enjoyed working with the dealer that we worked with. However, when it came to dealing with American steel carports directly to schedule the delivery and the set up of our building, their customer service was probably the worst I have ever dealt with. They lied to me multiple times. They lied about their delivery they changed the delivery time after we finally got a date three times which is fine but then when they came and set our building up and started to work on it they said it woul... read more
When the installer came to install my carport, he had informed me that I had standard anchors and that I had declined the wind warranty. My contract specifically states I was to receive concrete anchors and the wind warranty. Now they wont respond. Buyers beware!! This company, not only will charge you u disclosed fees upon delivery, they wont honor their contract.
BUYER BEWARE. I WOULD RECCOMEND GOING ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. READ ALL THE FINE PRINT AND DO NOT ASSUME ANYTHING. These "buildings" are anything but that. If you live anywhere with high winds and any kind of poor weather these buildings will not keep rain and snow out. I have photos of snow piled in on both sides of the rollup doors where it was able to easily get into the building with a bit of wind, more so, unless you go through and re-seal many missed areas with silicone or similar you will find water leaks consistently ... read more
