Highway Robbers! The average price for residential propane is 2.15-2.40 right now in Ohio. they are charging me 4.16 a gallon. They tried to pacify me with 100.00 off and a gift card for 100.00 Still leaves the price of the propane at 3.409 cents. I paid 2.50 per gallon in October and prices are down so why the hell am I being charged 4.16. that is complete garbage! because since you have their tank you have to have their gas delivered. Well! not for long I am getting rid of them. they can shove their tank up their A$$

Amerigas is terrible! My provider sold to them some years ago and it has become worse and worse. There's no way to speak to a person on the phone and online seems to be ignored. I am currently sitting on 15% tank level awaiting delivery of pre buy propane that's been ordered since mid December. I am 73 years old and we are going into a record low temperature weekend. After 2 attempts to contact them, still no response. After reading reviews I'm becoming concerned and a little terrified.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Called four times in one week and still no gas. Each call takes at least 20-25 minutes. Extremely frustrating.

On Monday January 15, 2024 I woke to a cold home, with my furnace blowing cold air. After several calls to Amerigas, a friend stopped and determined that the regulator (Amerigas's equipment that I rent) was frozen. There has never been a lid on that propane tank to protect it from the elements. This friend used a hair dryer to thaw out the regulator and had to return the next day to thaw the regulator again. If I could give negative stars I would. We were customers of this crooked company for a miserable 4 years, I couldn’t wait to sell our house just to never deal with them again. We sold our house in October and received an invoice we would be getting $800+ refunded for closing our account. They spelled our name wrong!! So we called to have them correct the spelling on the check. We have waited 3 months and they have still not corrected or sent out a new check, and now randomly they’re saying I’m not an authorized account hold... read more

The worst company for communication and follow-up. They are not forthcoming and leave their customers out in the cold with misinformation. They are unavailable after 5pm PST and have no idea when deliveries will be made.

AmeriGas is a joke. 800 number will not help resolve your issue. They will not contact local offices for help. I have been out of propane for 5 days in freezing weather and no on can confirm delivery. If I want 24 hour service I have to pay $300 more dollars but still may not get delivery? This company is a joke and doesn’t even care about their customers. They need to be shut down or at the very least investigated because they are putting people’s lives at risk.

I have waited for three days now, and still no propane. The coldest weather of the year is upon us, and my house is 51 degrees and has no hot water. I was supposed to have gas by the end of today. What does that mean? Their office closes at 4:30 pm, and no one answers the phone all day. It is 5:30 pm now. I have three sick kids and some small pets. At least AmeriGas could answer their phones or call customers they can't get to in a day. My electric bill will be sky-high because of this situation due to so many space heaters.... read more
