We have had multiple issues with AmeriGas. We needed an emergency fill and they charged us all the fees but didn't come to fill the tank. We cancelled our account and they were suppose to schedule a pick up. This didn't happen, instead they tried to take it while we were out of town. Since cancelling our account it took them over a year to get the tank, charged us to take it, also added on an addition rental fee, and late fees. How is this company still in business? Stopped using gas in December and asked them to pick up the tank and close the account. After 15 calls, I threatened to dispose of the tank myself and they came the next day. OF COURSE there's "no record" by the tech that the tank was full, so I don't get any refund. And they had the audacity to charge me a tank pick-up fee after they told me EXPLICITLY that I would not be charged. Oh and they charged me 10 months of tank rent. Actual criminals.

Worst customer service ever. Paid 500 for 100 gallons of propane on the 12 of November delivery date was scheduled for the 13 -20 no calls or anything now it's the 22nd and now my tank is locked and still no propane called customer service which isn't even in the US its in the Philippines. Keep getting the same awnsers over what day there coming out can't tell you this company is theives they take your money and can't even give you a date on when there coming I don't recommend this place to anyone this place is a joke and th... read more

Multiple requests to schedule delivery or receive notification prior to delivery. Never responded - they just show up with no warning and when I am not home. My yard is locked with security alarm & I need to be home for delivery.

Can someone please tell me how Amerigas can charge a consumer $4.73 a gallon for propane when national-average for East Tennessee is $3.00, this company is crooked. They have you the #$#& and there’s not a damn thing you can do that would not be a huge expense to the homeowner by digging up the tank.

I would give it no stars if an option. No Customer Service in U.S. and absolutely terrible, ran out of gas twice and zero motivation. Go somewhere local!!!

They are worst company ever. Please do not use them. They make excuses that roads are closed when waiting for delivery. They are always late couple weeks delivering. Worst company ever. We have 2 babies in the house and we are running out of propane and they keep lying to us why they couldn’t make it or that they made it but no one was home. My wife is a stay home mom and we were gone for 2 weeks but they never came. Please don’t use them

Horrible customer service. Took 4 months to get my remaining 300 gallons (I paid for 800) to get delivered. Then I had to pay a more expensive price to get them to deliver my remaining 300 gallons. A lot of lies and no record keeping of phone calls and conversations.

Worst service I have ever received. Do not sign anything when you move into a home that has this tank at the residence and get it removed right away. Even if you have no hot water until a new provider gets their tank in there it will be worth the cold showers to not have to deal with the aggravation and money you will lose. They cheated me out of hundreds of dollars and had the worst customer service I have experienced.
