We have not ordered gas form this company in over 2 years, but every2-3 months we are being billed for gas. When I called the customer services, it always a different explanation. Several times the person says we are being charged for gas we used in the last 2-3 months. We have a tank installed 1958 that does not have unground gas connections. If there was zero stars I’d put it. The worst company ever since they closed all local facilities. You can not speak to an American you get sent to call center in a foreign country and they have zero clue, then they time you out and hang up. I’ve spent hours trying to get a delivery now I’m spending hours trying to get my bill corrected so I can pay it. Pretty bad when you can’t pay your bill you. Only good person was the driver

This Company is crooked! I sold my home on 8/14/23 & I had 68% of my propane left & was supposed to get a $856.46 refund. I have not received that refund. Shortly after moving I received a bill for $230, they said I missed May's payment (I was on a 4 month breakdown plan) I did not miss May's payment. If I had why wasn't it brought up in June, July or August??? Needless to say they kept telling me that I will be getting the refund, minus my bill ( that I shouldn't have!) Horrible. Called to get a discount code applied to my propane order. Big discount so would pay 1.49 gallon of propane. Had propane tank filled. Charged MUCH more than that. On chat for about 15 minutes with a patronizing person apologizing all over themselves but unwilling to apply the discount. I would give them no stars if I could. I don't mind paying the money but do not bait and switch

If there was a negative star system, that's what I would choose for this company. They charge $2 more a gallon than anyone else and when you try to cancel they tack on numerous bogus fees. Their "support team" tells you that you can call in and have those fees removed once they post to your account, but after several phone calls, waiting on hold, and messages with them to remove the fees they don't go away. I filled up 2 weeks ago at 3.697 a gallon and in just a little over a week they sent out a flyer saying you could fill for 1.59 a gallon for existing customers who owned their own tank. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I think propane going from 3.697 one week to 1.59 a little over a week after most people filled their tanks is crap. I have bought my last gallon from Amerigas. (I had to pic a “star rating” it should be none but I was required to pick one. )

We had a crack in our propane tank in East Tennessee. They scheduled an appointment for November 1 to repair the tank and didn't show up for the repair. They sent a text confirming the appointment. However, come to find out, they didn't really schedule that appointment. Rather, they sent the text for repairs to be done on 11-1 to appease us. They over charged me for a service they did not complete. I have been on the phone with them 5 times in the last 2 months. I will not pay for a charge that was not done. Talking with a foreign person each time who says they will take care of it! LIE! Never taken care of! I have asked them to come and get the propane tank. I have used this company for over 20yrs. Have paid my bill on time every invoice. Very displeased with Amerigas. Do not buy propane from the company.
