**************** is trash. They bought the company I was doing business with and then tried to charge me some bs fee to cancel the service....
They hide prices only to find out they are double local prices. Have closed all walk in offices so you can't speak to anyone. Long waits on phone and when you get someone, it's in a foreign country with people I have problems understanding and can't/won't help anyway.
I discontinued my service with this company because they have no local offices and terrible customer service. After I canceling service with them, they charged me $419 to come pick up an empty tank which took them no more than a half hour of their time.
I paid for a drop and was told by the driver they cannot fill my tank; turns out the tank is owned by **. This was a little inconvenient, but no big deal. I messaged and then called to request a refund to get my tank filled by the other company. I guess Amerigas only does refunds via paper check; a little frustrating, but it is what it is. Was told it should take no longer than 72 hours for them to approve my refund check...that was 10 days ago. They over charged for a partial refill and for a full tank. When I called customer service, they said we don't do pricing, I had to go to store itself. There was no way to register a complaint. I spoke to a supervisor and she said they were not responsible for their representatives ripping people off.
By far the worst business experience I've had in quite sometime. Constantly waiting on the phone for someone to answer the phone. Almost always over 30 minutes. One broken promise after another. Oh we'll get that done in no time and it never gets done. Incompetent, uncaring employees that no doubt lie about upcoming services scheduled. Do NOT use this company for any jobs or services in any capacity. You will be sorry.
I started service with amerigas because it was the tank that the previous owner used and it seemed the easiest way to fill up their tank / replacement with another. So I paid for my first fill up and was told delivery would be within 5-7 days for delivery as the tank was empty and the temperature was in the 30's at night. 0 stars. They charged over a dollar a gallon over there competition. Then they charged me $419.98 to pick up the tank that is theirs. The BBB and the *** should investigate these criminals!!!
I have a $700 bill when all I did was ask for a free quote. Ive called three times already and every time they say they are taking care of it and I only get another bill. Finally, I told the last representative, Fine, just send a tank to my house since you are billing me for it. They told me they don't service my area. This cant be real. DO NOT GET A FREE QUOTE FROM AMERIGAS!
