On 1/23/26 I got a text saying our delivery would arrive in a few days. Fast forward to 1/30/26 I get a text saying its arriving tomorrow. So today 1/31/26 I get a text saying my driveway is not accessible and they need to reschedule. They estimated our level at 20%, were at ZERO! I called, got some foreigner who I can barley understand who says best she can do is tomorrow maybe. We had to shut our furnace off in hopes we dont run out completely tonight. I am filing this complaint due to extremely poor customer service and serious safety failures by AmeriGas.I reported a propane odor coming from my underground rented tank and also heard hissing from the tank area. AmeriGas sent a technician who performed a pressure test that FAILED the system dropped from approximately 10 PSIG to zero in about three minutes, confirming an active propane leak. if i could i would give no star. horrible service. we made a complaint last year about possible gas leak. which turned out to be a dead animal. Since then, they did not let us know that our account was locked. when we are down to 15%, we finally contacted them why they haven't made any delivery. they told us account is locked which we requested to unlock, still no response from them, they told us things were taken care of. after 4/5 days we contacted them again and again they said account is locked and need to call and we di... read more
Amerigas doesn't deserve a star. There should be an option for negative stars. This business is truly the worst. They lie constantly. Our tank is on auto-fill, yet they dont monitor it at all. When it runs out of propane, they claim theyll come within 24 hours, but youre lucky if they show up within a week.Calling them is just as bad. They ******* you with endless questions and still dont do anything to help. We have used Amerigas for 20+ years. About 10 years ago we installed a generator and added a second tank. it has been a headache ever since. Somehow they can't get it all on one account, and currently, in the aftermath of an ice storm, no power for 6 days and no restoration for a week to 2, they say that account is a prepay account because we "fail a credit check" somehow considering our 800+ credit score and perfect payment record, and are postponing our refill. we've been running the generator 2 to 4 hours a day, but are v... read more
I called Amerigas to have my propane filled on 1/28/26. Go through the process, become a new customer, give my credit card info, simple right? Wrong. Next day I get a message that my driveway was "icy or not plowed" and I need to reschedule. But I received no call, no other messages that a delivery driver was at my house. Mind you the drive was clear with minimal bits of snow here and there. I call on 1/29/26 and speak with someone to figure out why they didn't deliver. I get the same BS response. I was going to detail my experience with Amerigas here ... but as I read all of the negative reviews. and NO good reviews I don't think I need to. This is the worst propane company that I have ever dealt with and I have had propane for 25 years at my last 3 homes.... so that is saying a lot. ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!We were a customer of Titan ******************** before AmeriGas bought them out in our area. So, we have been a customer of ********************** for at least 15 years now. Called them for a refill 2 months ago and the price they quoted was $3.37 per gallon. We called another local establishment, and their price was $1.87 per gallon. AMERIgas is a company that makes my skin crawl. They say place an order at 30% only because it takes 3 weeks just to get an order filled. No sense of urgency is emergency situations!! They DO NOT care about their customers. Never a pleasant delivery. If the driver is lazy which they all are they will report anything to stop a delivery from happening like stating theirs a car on driveway when no car is present. Dogs on site when owner has no dogs.
