Price gouging. Propane is charged $2 more a gallon than all the other propane companies in the area.

Zero stars. I called multiple times to disconnect service- tanks were unhooked and empty and sat in my yard for 4 months. They charged extortionate fees to discontinue service- refused to do anything beyond say this is what you have to pay. I asked for the transcript from our phone call and they refused to give it to me. They hung up on me when I requested to speak with a manager.

Amerigas never showed up to fill my tank so I had to go with another company, they were sent a letter to come pick up their tank, 1 year later after I went with a different company they send me a letter to pay for a tank rental that I no longer have. This Company had the worse ***************** Tried calling them to get this taken care of the *** was rude and disrespectful and hung up on me. I would never use this company again

They were my propane supplier. Requested a fill up 1/12/26 & were supposed to fill up 1/18-22. They then continued to say next day until 1/30 when the let me run out of gas. You can't speak to anyone in the ** as the call center is in ******. You can expect to be left out in cold. Terrible customer service.

I ordered a refill (at 20%) on my tank on 1/19 they said it would be here between the 1/26 - 1/29 and nothing just got text saying preparing your order. I called they said it would be next day again the text the message. Again a no show. Now Im at 5% I call again same story it will be tomorrow. On 2/2 I wake up to a freezing cold house with no gas no heat I called them back now they tell me again it will be tomorrow. Amerigas is using a third party calling system for customers that is absolutely dangerous due to the importance of propane in cold weather. I contacted Amerigas to get my propane tuned back on from a leak that forced the gas to be turned off .Horrible timing since Eastern VA is having a polar vortex and the house heat is propane. The issue was fixed and so I attempted to call Amerigas over 5 times and was directed to this third party calling center each time to come out and turn back on the propane. Amerigas gets 0 stars from me . Called on 2/6/26 about a delivery that was supposed to be by 2/2/26 was placed on urgent fill list and told it would be delivered 2/7/26 it never showed .They have the worst customer service nothing but getting the run around . and this isn't the first time they have done this wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Would leave 0 if I could. This company is not worth even considering. They didn't deliver to us in time even though we pre-paid for the delivery and it caused us to smell propane and run out of propane. We called the emergency line was told to evacuate due to possible leak, which we knew it was most likely being out. The order had been in a little over a week.
