I was not pleased about the naming convention on the documents. If I had to sign 100 docs I would say half of them had one name and the other half had another name. I thought this was all worked about prior to closing. But at the end of the day I liked the rate and the numbers in how it will help my family. But the docs was disappointing and having multiple names seems a little lazy and unprofessional.

I was on top of all my documents. PennyMac was not. I had to repost documents multiple times. My closing documents were incorrect and we had to reschedule. For an organization that "prides itself on customer service" this was an not easy experience.

Coordination was abysmal; title company waited on a document for literally weeks, and PNMAC never bothered asking the title company what they needed from me; I had to call the title company to get it done. He called at 3pm the day before closing, to tell me I needed to come up with an extra $2k, and refused to show me a simple breakdown of the new numbers. Threatened to start over the whole process (and thus lose my locked-in rate) if I wanted to work with a different coordinator.

Andrew communicated only with my husband and did not recognize I was part of the process. However, Earl was very responsive and provided clear expectations.

Andrew is very helpful and knowledgeable. It was hard for me to answer my phone when at work. But Andrew keeps updating me with the status of our loan via voicemail and email.
