The process took much longer with PennyMac. I had another refinance for a different property with another mortgage company and they were done and closed within a month. The overall customer service was amazing. All my questions were answered to the best of the agent's knowledge and they made sure to stay in communication. I receive follow up phone calls within 24 hours of me sending emails. The closing process was a bit bumpy. The numbers were changed and I was issued a corrected form.
The process went smooth from the first phone call down to closing. I appreciate the follow-up phone calls and emails to keep us updated on where we were at until we had the closing date. Lastly, the rate we got was one of the lowest when we were shopping around and weren't pressured to make a decision on the spot.
The customer service was great and the process was completed efficiently and in a timely manner!
Loan process was easy and communication was good. Took a month longer to close though.

My first loan application went very smooth front beginning to end. The team always kept me informed. I’m still waiting for my second application to clear but I imagine it will be just as smooth.

I was approved for a VA interest change on my PennyMac loan. During my attempted contact on 9 separate occasions with Mr. A. Mortenson was non-existent. Mr. Mortenson made no attempt to contact me after I had made nine telephonic and three emails. I finally made contact with Mr. Donald Mayday, and if it wasn't for extreme help, I would have gone with some other financial firm. I spent 30 years in the military and I give kudos to Mr. D. Mayday. Easy application process, not much was required of me other than submitting a few documents, got a lower rate and lowered my payments. Mr Mortenson was easy to contact when needed.
