I really did not have to do anything. Everyone involved took care of all the paperwork and scheduled any meetings. All I had to do was meet the Notary at my house and sign the X spots and dates on the papers. It could not have been easier. I am well satisfied.
The process for refinancing went pretty smooth. A friend of mine started a conventional refinance with his current loan holder weeks before I started my USDA refinance with PennyMac and I was able to close my loan weeks sooner. The home loan specialist who was working with me was knowledgeable and attentive. The process was straight forward and simple. I received an update call or email each week to let me know where everything was at. Overall it was good experience and I would recommend them.
We were able to refinance our home loan with our existing lender of PennyMac using the VA Streamline Refiance Loan. Everyone in our refinance process was very knowledgeable, and they made the process very simple. Christian Silva and Andrew Mortenson were both so much help. We are very grateful for the experience they brought to the table.

Expectation of process was little bit delay but it went through timely manner.
Application process and ability to upload documents. Would suggest being able to see uploaded documents after upload to verify information.
1) Provide an accurate estimate of Appraisal. 2) Hire appraisers that know their job. He listed the WRONG number of bedrooms. (I have been in RE for most of my life; and can quote ALL requirements to classify a bedroom). 3) Provide better (OR ANY) options for when someone, for whom you made me pay, makes a blatant and gross mistake. After spending many many weeks and tons of money -- the ONLY option I was provided by PennyMac Team was to back out and cancel the refi. -SAD
