They did nothing to help my cat! Sent her home as sick as she went and charged $550. They sent her home with medication for vomting , diarrhea and pain none of which she had and not the reason for taking her in . Her problem was not urinating and not eating. These people didn't have a clue!! The stuff written in the chart when I picked her up was totally wrong. Stay as far away from this place as you can!!!! I would never go back for any reason!!!! Beware!!!!

Although my Sally has been receiving excellent care, sadly this place is all about money. They want a huge deposit up front and then tell you if you can’t afford anything more to put your fur baby to sleep. Don’t vets take some sort of oath the way doctors and nurses do?!?

Business response:

Thank you for trusting us with Sally’s care, Stephanie! We certainly pride ourselves in providing dedicated and compassionate care 24/7. When going over treatment plans and cost, we certainly take in to consideration that emergency visits are not always in a budget and try to work with you within your means. We also take all major credit cards, cash, payments over the phone, and offer financing options through Care Credit. If you have any questions about your bill, please feel free to call the hospital and one of our Client ... read more

My little dog and best friend Nelson was so sick and in so much pain. They did everything to help him ! The only negative comment I have is that they didn’t keep me informed on his condition ! Let me explain,as I read back over this I was not satisfied for what I had stated ! When I took Nelson in on Saturday, they did finally call me in the early evening... but then I waited all the evening and part of Sunday waiting for an update on his condition ! I had to call them finally to find out how he was.

Business response:

Hi Diane, first and foremost we are sorry for the loss of your sweet boy Nelson! It is never easy losing a furry family member. We take your concerns seriously and will make our doctors aware.

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately my first experience here was awful... The reception staff was very sweet and helpful but my dog was prescribed medications too high for her weight resulting in me having to take her to another ER to fix their mistake. After verifying with 2 other vets and several vet techs that they prescribed too high of a dose I called to explain and the manager brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal and said my dog was just sensitive to the medication. My dog has been on every single medicat... read more

They are more concerned about money then the animals. They thought my dog was a cat. Tech wrote down my dog had bloody diarrhea which I never said. Very disappointed with the the whole place.

Business response:

We are sorry to hear you did not have a good experience. We understand times are difficult right now due to the COVID19 and we are doing our best to accommodate everyone, including offering treatment plans to fit within your budget. We will bring your concerns to our hospital administrator.

They would of just let my dog die they wouldn’t try and work with me or make any suggestions!! I took my fur baby to Rossmoyne animal hospital and they were amazing!!!! They saved her and helped with working out a payment plan! And had other suggestions I’m truly thankful!! But I was very disappointed with this place!

My family had to put their dog down a few days ago and everyone there was so sweet, kind, patient, and professional. They made sure we were comfortable every step of the way and answered every question asked. The lady at the front desk was an absolute blessing. She made a horrible time so much easier to handle.

The Animal Emergency Hospital in Bel Air was wonderful. They just sent me this sympathy card (1st pic) for the passing of my Mila (F1 Savannah) not knowing the connection she had with my Klaus (Russian Blue) who passed in 2015 from diabetes. They were inseparable!! I guess this was a sign they were reunited over the rainbow bridge. I’m in tears 😢

Business response:
