Referred to them by Banfield after botching Karl's diagnosis. By the time they figured out that his UTI was really prostate cancer, they quickly suggested we take him to an oncologist at AE&RA. Despite the agonizing decision we had to make to spare him further suffering, this place really went the extra mile to make things as easy and pain free as possible. The entire staff showed genuine compassion during each visit, especially our last. Was the service cheap? No, but that's far from the issue because I would have paid any... read more

As I write this review, I'm trying to stay focused on the positive outcome for our 3 year old pet Cavalier King Charles. When I focus on that, I lean towards 4, maybe even 5 stars. However, when I consider the financial side, I lean towards 2 stars or even one star, so 3 stars seem a reasonable compromise. We brought our dog for a check-up after his sister died unexpectedly while we were away from home. She had a collapsed trachea and despite an emergency vet's best efforts, the strain on her heart just proved too great and... read more

So it's been a while since I've been to Animal Emergency but I just walked by my dog's ashes and thought about the great care she got from this hospital and I thought I should give them a good review. Our Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) Rosa first went to this hospital when she was 6 and on her death bed. We lived in PA but I knew the owner of this hospital... Dr. P and I gave him a desperate, last ditch call in hopes he could help. He obviously couldn't do anything without seeing her so we took the 2 & 1/2 drive there, my... read more

This place is the NYU of hospitals for pets . I highly recommend you to take your pet here if there is an emergency. My Dog Yoshi suffers from epilepsy and after so many hopeless emergency visits we found this place. DR Massicotte has been treating Yoshi for a while and always has the best answers and explanations. Thanks to this facility YOshi is living a healthy life with less frequent seizures. But be prepare you pay for what you get.

We took our Jack Russel Terrier Molly to this animal hospital on 9/8/2016. Molly has a collapsed trachea and occasionally has episodes where she can't stop coughing which makes the condition worse, because she can't rest, which causes more coughing, etc. She was seen by Doctor Wolf who is great! Even though Molly is very nervous whenever she visits a vet, Doctor Wolf was able to get Molly's coughing under control quickly and also helped us review the medications we give our dog. She was very compassionate and understanding ... read more

I would like to give this animal hospital 5 stars but at the same time I would like to give it 3.. The people here are AMAZING! They care about the animals, are very knowledgable and super sweet. BUT it is very very expensive and I also feel like everything should be described in detail a little more (as in what everything they would like to do that they would charge you for would actually do or show for you or your pet). Example: I came in with my dog and they gave me a list of things based off of what I said that they woul... read more

Brought in my kitten due to a medical emergency. Although pricey, I would say it was worth it for the care I received for her. After submitting her overnight, I was told I could come visit her anytime. They were more than accommodating to our situation and very caring. I visited her twice and both times they took the opportunity to provide us with an update. They requested an update on my kitten's conditon when I brought her home. The internal specialist specifically called back to offer his condolences on the loss of m... read more

5 years ago the neurosurgeon there made it possible for my dog to walk again. Yes it was expensive but it's a dog neurosurgeon , who knew that existed? They only kept my dog for 2.5 days after surgery. Didn't feel like they kept him just to make money. They also let me visit him while he was in the hospital. Can't say enough about this place, they took such great care of him while in the hospital. Also my dogs after care was all included in the price I paid for the surgery!

My beautiful Toby was put to sleep on Wednesday morning, 7/27/16 at approximately 1:15 by Dr. Jordan Sauer. Dr. Gordon Peddle has been his cardiologist for the past 18 months and both doctors and the entire staff have been nothing short of wonderful and compassionate. My Toby suffered from congestive heart failure; he was 12 1/2 yrs old and we could not allow him to suffer any longer. There are no words to describe or express the kindness and sympathy Dr. Sauer provided to my family during this most difficult time. Whil... read more
