The emergency doctor and staff we worked with were extremely thorough, caring, and made my dog and my family comfortable in a stressful situation. This was our first time as a patient at this facility and my dog was well taken care of and cared for. You can tell the doctors and nurses truly care about their patients. They were thorough in their assessment and treatment plan and kept my family informed throughout our visit. We're very grateful.

AERA treated my Frenchie for a sudden and intense allergic reaction to a bee sting. Due to Covid protocol, we dropped her off with a technician in the parking lot - never met the veterinarian! We did, however, speak to her. She was very clear about the treatment and cautious about returning her to us only after assuring that treatment was heading in the right direction (swollen welts going down). Thankfully, the treatment worked and 24 hours later Beatrice has completely recovered.

Dr Gabriel Stein was great with our pup a few weeks ago. Called multiple times with updates, notifying costs and great results. Our little boy is doing much better

I always use this facility when my regular vets aren't open. It's there 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. Today I brought my baby in who's a 12 year Japanese chin who had diarrhea after a recent trip. I was upset leaving him while I waited outside but due to covid I had no choice. I was told a two hour wait. They took him in immediately, called me in thirty minutes that he would be ready to leave. The Dr I don't remember her name but she was very efficient and very kind on the phone. Just to hear a positive friendly voice mad... read more

I just recently took my 6 year old Pekingese on a Thursday night to Animal Emergency and Referral Associates. He had been throwing up bile (approx. 4 times, 5 times if you count the drive over) and was pooping blood with mucous about 3 times within 1/2 hour. I called and rushed him over (his brother and litter mate came for the ride since they have never been separated since born). I waited about 5 minutes and they took him in (as the Covid19 Pandemic is still going on. I waited over an hour and half with his brother in ... read more

Recently had to put my dog to sleep. Horrible experience . They did not seem to busy but if they were they should have just let us know instead of making us wait over an hour and a half . I'm glad they are there at times when the regular vet cannot see you. I gave them Three stars for being open 24 hours

The doctors there are top notch and experts in their field. The Emergency staff is courteous and professional. Even during this Corona Virus/COVID-19 pandemic, these dedicated professionals are working tirelessly to aid our furry family members with their medical emergencies. Just 2 days ago, in the middle of the rainy cold night, Dr Scelba and her staff saved my Reggie who had eaten a poisonous plant. They were in contact with Animal Poison Control and provided treatment and diagnostic care, along with medications and instr... read more

My husband and I brought our beloved brown tabby cat here at the referral of our regular vet. He was in critical condition and his outlook was grim....had he made it, this place gave him the best chance of survival. Through the whole process though, the doctors, technicians, and desk staff treated our cat (and his human parents) with the utmost professionalism and compassion, making us feel like he was their family too. Many of our friends and acquaintances have also brought their pets to this hospital and have had nothing b... read more

I took my 16 year old dog to the neurologist here. Dr. Christiane Massicotte was very nice and took her time with us. She is very profesional and has great bedside manners. The hospital is easy to get to and clean. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and the check in and check out process was fast
