They want you to pay $220 just for the visit then they don’t even tell you what’s wrong unless you’re paying $2430.00 upfront when I said that was too pricey they said all we can get it down to $1306. I still said no like what is wrong with her and they knew that Maxie was dying but they just wanted this money first so Maxie was turned away. Be aware that protocols in place to prevent a overdose are easily bypassed! I took my dog there a few weeks back after he became very ill. The doctor who initially took care of my dog, told me that he had a fever of 105 and that once they stabilized him, the would feel comfortable sending him home if I felt comfortable taking his temperature and monitoring him for the next few days. I'm writing this review a little over a year after we had to use this vet hospital because I wanted to make sure the perspective about my experience there wasn't affected by the huge disappointment of the moment. We rescued a street cat with a very bad injury, and we took it to Animal Specialty Center. As others have mentioned, this place is money hungry. Although I couldn’t afford what I needed done to my pet cat I did do a thorough exam on her to tell me what was really wrong with her and recommend me to somewhere that can actually help me they are friendly staff!
The service is atrocious! I arrived at 3:27 for my 3:30 discharge appointment. It is now 4:25 and I still don’t have my dog. It is the worst. There is absolutely no respect for anyone’s time. However, the last person I spoke with apologized for the wait. I guess that makes everything alright then.

Brought a stray dog here last night at 10 pm and was told by Sandra that they would notify me exactly which shelter they were bringing him to so that I could put my name down to adopt if he isn’t claimed. Not only did I never receive that info but Lizzie the “manager” says they won’t give me any info at all cuz I’m not the owner. So I have no idea where the yorkie went. My husband and I brought our very sick cat Bella there and All they care about is $$$$$$.They charged us $200 to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for Bella.They basically told my husband and I Since we aren't Donald Trump and don't have a million dollars to give to them to treat Bella,that she is gonna die a horrible death.They DONT do payment plans.THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND CARES MORE ABOUT $$$ THEN THE SICK/DYING ANIMAL.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU ARE DONALD TRUMP OR BILL GATES..
