$12,000 dollars paid to this predatory veterinary ordeal and my chihuahua is dead, my heart, my baby. In the early morning hours of November 25 our chihuahua came down with HGE. We rushed her to the local vet where they kept her all day, monitoring her condition, keeping her stable. That night when they closed they recommended transferring her to Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center. When we got there at about 8:30 pm they examined her and gave us a list of things they would need to do, including a bunch of ... read more

THEY DID THE WRONG PROCEDURE ON MY DOG! STAY AWAY! DECEPTIVE, DISHONEST, AND THEY DON'T CARE! I brought my dog in to get his ear fixed. His ear flap had filled with fluid from a busted blood vessle. He was in bad pain from it. When I spoke to the vet he outlined a detailed plan of what he said was required and what he planned to do. He explained to me that he had to sedate my dog so he could make an incision in his ear to do the work and put in a bunch of sutures. I agreed to this being done since it is what the vet said wa... read more

My girl died this summer & I blame AVECC Gilbert for it. Their lack of care, knowledge & compassion is 100% to blame. Several visits & many more calls couldn’t get them to pause & take a moment to look at what was going on. A simple antibiotic treatment would have saved my Dezi. But AVECC made me wait 3 weeks for a biopsy surgery. By that time, the surgeon refused to put her under because she was too sick. I had begged them to get her in sooner, but AVECC refused. By the time I got help from a legit specialist, the MRI sh... read more

Although the outcome was positive for our little poodle I feel there was more interest in the money than in our poodle. He was dying, instead of taking him straight back and worrying about if we could afford treatment or getting our credit card info., we had to stand there and go through all that with a critically ill pet. We told the receptionist just take him back and get IV’s in him I will stay here and give you all the info you need. Once he was back there they kept coming and saying he needs this it will cost X amoun... read more

The vet we saw was only after money. We told her what we thought the issue was but she wouldn’t even consider it and did not look in to it. She went off in a complete different direction. Took our dog to our regular vet the next day and it was indeed what we thought. We paid $800+ at the emergency vet when it was an 80.00 problem. The sad thing is that we almost put our girl down for something that just required an antibiotic. I will NEVER go there again!

After arriving around 7pm, finally being seen around 12am, being done by 12:30am, and having to wait until 3am while their computers updated.... I will never go back. I strongly recommend 1st Pet.
