Honestly my server ruined it for me. It didn’t seem as though she cared or wanted to be there at all. No smile, dry tone, didn’t even care to make any suggestions. Didn’t really check on the table. I heard two people rave about how much they liked this place, but I wont suggest this place to anyone. I may give it another try in a few months but the probability of that is low.
Food was very good. Waiter was not the best. He was not very attentive and we had to ask questions to get information. It was a “slow” Monday evening, yet he had an attitude that he was extremely busy. Very nice restaurant - good ambiance.
Unfortunately the food has definitely gone down. I would go this restaurant 3 times or more a week. Now, i have to send food back, because its not prepared correctly or just has no taste. Lobster spaghetti my favorite taste like a water down fish soup The time before this horrible visit. I had to take my plate to the kitchen and show the kitchen staff that is was plan, where was the seasoned flavors i love. One of the chefs took my plate through it away, and made a fresh on. We came to celebrate my husband’s 34th birthday and were so disappointed with the ambiance that we asked for the check after appetizers. They sat us upstairs at a tiny high top in the middle of the bar. I’ve been to Arnette’s before and had a great experience, in the main dining room downstairs, which is why I was so excited to bring my husband (who has never been). Salad drenched in dressing. Snapper dish concept was not good. No covid precautions
A former favorite now off the list. Food quality and prep has been declining and last night was the final straw. Terribly tough and over cooked steak which the waiter knew but never stopped at the table to check until the dessert ask came. Had to ask for utensils twice for the sides and they never arrived. No consideration for the poor steak, although they did dessert which no one wanted. Lastly, there is an attitude of arrogance here along with the other local restaurants owned by the chef. Waiter rushing. Not pleasant.
Had a reservation, but still was required to stand in the lobby and wait 40 minutes past our reservation time. They weren't really updating us about why we had to wait, but it appeared like they mismanaged their bookings and spacing. Food was great, but if I want to wait 40 minutes for a steak, I'll go to Longhorn. For the prices you pay here, you expect a reservation to mean something.
