We were really excited to try this restaurant but it ended up being the worst dinner I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. Won’t recommend and won’t go back.
We have been loyal customers to all the Word of Mouth restaurants as we live in the neighborhood. We have celebrated multiple special occasions at Arnettes and have grown to love the servers, the bar tenders etc. Last night we brought friends for their first time and we were seriously disappointed in the hostess stand. Always good food yet waitress was a little too intrusive and pushy on moving plates that were not finished. This happened at least twice.
Arnettes when opened was a great alternative to the long time Buckhead steakhouses. As a Brookhaven resident it is convenient and always has a great atmosphere. Over time the food seems to have regressed making it not worth the money you will surely spend. I would recommend it for an appetizer or cocktail but for dinner you are better off choosing another steak house.
Nice restaurant but I prefer my steak hot. Cold plate cools it down too fast.
We were sat in a two top in a screened in outside area, against a door, in plastic lawn chairs, the dining area seemed relatively open and we had a reservation. Steaks were sorely undercooked, came out 5 minutes after we ordered, stringy and low quality. 1 of our plates was clearly the broiler plater and you could have gotten 3rd degree burns from it. The whole experience was rushed and lack luster.
Second time in a week that we have gone to a restaurant in this group. Both times we had 8pm reservations and both times we had to wait a good while to be seated. Both times we found alternative seating on our own. Last night our service was incredibly slow, it was 10:30 before we finished our meal. Really expect more from a restaurant of this caliber. It’s too bad because we have enjoyed Arnettes in the past but will wait a good while before considering to go back.
This was the 2nd time we visited Arnette's. It was delicious both times, but this visit wasn't as relaxing. There was a group of guests that apparently knew the manager because they were loud, used foul language, and made a disparaging remark loud enough for another couple to hear. No one asked them to quiet down or stop cursing, and the manager went to their table twice just to chat.
Took over in hour to get our food, once arrived meats were undercooked, sent back, came back a second time undercooked. Management did comp 50% of meal but experience was shot
