Dined yesterday, 09/28/21 6:30 reservation. Overall, food and service was very good. Two suggestions: First, the menu on their website is very out of date as to menu selections to a minor degree, but more importantly, the prices shown for steak selections are FAR below actual prices on site. For example, the 16 oz. cowgirl ribeye is $59 on the website but last night it was $72!!! Talk about bait and switch! Don’t ask to sit outside, there’s literally 3 tables on a stone slab, sit on the balcony or upstairs. I regret listening to the email saying the “outdoor dining experience” was the best in Ga and making my reservations to sit outside. I spent more time telling people the way to get inside than I did eating the greet food. Thanks @opentable
Love Arnettes, but it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other.
We have been to Arnette’s many times. We love the ambiance and always have a great service. Tonight, there were kids everywhere, the restaurant was loud and bright. If you’ve been here before, it’s beautiful,lounge music, always a lot of people but this was entirely different. My wife and I decided to leave. We tipped our server $20 told him it was nothing personal and left to another spot we enjoy. You’re gonna to drop $250 here easy.
They crammed everyone into the same back room, and sat us in row of tables all sharing a booth on one side where you are bumping elbows with the tables next to you. Really hate that, ESPECIALLY during Covid I was shocked they did that. The lady next to me was coughing the whole time it made us super uncomfortable…. We literally were bumping elbows. Celebrating a promotion
Booked a reservation for a bday dinner and requested a low table in the main dining room. When we arrived, we were seated upstairs in the bar area at a high boy. Shrimp appetizer was a bit undercooked, no true champagne offered by the glass, dessert and my was served cold. Not sure that we’ll return.
I’ve been to Arnette’s a few times. Half of the time they cook the steak right. And when you send it back they end up over cooking it. The food is good but not great. This latest time we went during restaurant week and our server seemed bothered by us ordering from that menu. She wasn’t very attentive and definitely didn’t have a pleasant attitude.
The hostess at first weren’t really nice. They two person sets are really close to the other people so you can each other conversations. We asked for just a little truffle on the fries and they put on 25 dollars worth of truffles on there to charge us. The fries suck tasted straight up like eating a potato uncooked.
