Food and service were sub par for an up scale steak house . Interior main dining room was beautiful but too loud. We move to the quiet room that was bland and boring decor . Went to upstairs bar after they didn’t have any after dinner liqueurs .
It was amazing. We started with cocktails on the outside sitting area and then to dinner for a birthday celebration. The ribs, little gem salad, and the porterhouse was delicious and on point. Shag and scott and chet was so inviting and accommodating. Thank you all for making my special day so memorable.
Prices are completely outrageous; $10 for a vegetable side and another $10 for a starch- come on! Even bread costs $3. Food was terrific but it’s a very poor value.
Our experience at Arnette's Chop Shop was not pleasant. Our reservations was at 8:00 PM; however, our table wasn't available until well after 8:45 PM and things went terribly wrong from that point. Restaurant was already out of Bread Service, a few meals were not available when our waiter arrived to take our orders and from the time we sat down, to the time we ordered and finally received our food, it was just about 10:00 PM. Saturday night reservations. 30 min later and we still didn’t have seat. Lady was kind of rude about it that was managing seating. They set us outside and it was miserable. Starving we asked for bread and they didn’t have any because they ran out of bread. They don’t believe in seasoning food very bland. I heard other customers complaining also asking for salt etc. People were nice and I believe they are trying but they’ll have a major challenge competing with Atlanta steak houses unless they get it together. Served by Shag fabulous service above and beyond/very attentive very entertaining
They have a few kinks to work out. Food was over priced for the service and quality. Dishes were bland and they were out of a lot of things
For an expensive restaurant, food and service was mediocre. We like and have had good experience with the Haven family of restaurants. Therefore, this new restaurant may just need some more time to work out the flavors and the service issues we experienced.
Thought the people were very friendly and outstanding. The steaks are great. Did not think much of the wedge salad. The blue cheese had no zip to it. The oysters were very small . Overall very expensive$$$$$
