Had a reservation for 8 on a Saturday, but we weren’t seated until 9:15. It was super packed so I understand they were a little behind, but it was frustrating to wait that long for a table even with having a reservation. We grabbed drinks at the bar upstairs then snagged the only two seats downstairs by the hostess stand because it was elbow to elbow upstairs and VERY loud. There was a serious mismanagement of seats. Even with a reservation, we waited about 40 minutes. People were complaining. We tried to get up to the bar, but it was so packed and we felt terrible for those seated there. Diners were visibly frustrated. Much to our dismay, we were seated in the bar and forced to scream at each other (no exaggeration. Terrible experience. Food was decent, but they are trying to get too many people served which impacts the steakhouse experience one expects in this key of Atlanta . Service was terrible, but bar experience was good. Way better choices for steakhouse experiences in the Brookhaven:Buckhead area.
We were seated in bar for our dinner. Way too loud. Really wanted a nice conversation with my son. Sat downstairs the last time- much better!
Food wasn’t worth the money, much better steakhouses in the Buckhead Brookhaven area. Waited 20 minutes for a seat with a reservation, AT A STEAKHOUSE. Never again. Go to Chops, American Cut, or Bones.
Booked VD dinner a month ago, but was still seated in a side room that lacked any energy. Steak was not prepared correctly and had to be sent back. Twice baked potato was half of a potato for $10? Really disappointed with the experience and will not return. A bore.
I really struggled to write a review, but for the cost of the dinner, I had to - the tables are SO VERY CLOSE TOGETHER, we felt like we were on dates with the tables beside us. It was uncomfortable listening to multiple conversations, and I could barely hear my own husband. Once it cleared out a bit, it was a lot more relaxing but I just feel like they crammed way too many tables into the space. Food was good, but not the best I have ever had. We got the bacon as an appetizer. Unfortunately it was VERY fatty..almost inedible. The filet, prime rib sandwich, brusell sprouts and baked Alaska were amazing. The drinks were also good. We got most of our food to go - but I was bummed to get home and see that the bread wasn’t packed up. (You pay for bread service).
Interesting experience. Valet ignored us until we had to scream from our car “are you valet?” . This was probably after 3 or 4 minutes of us staring awkwardly at him. He came down the steps and then told us he thought we were Uber picking someone up.... Server was knowledgable but we mentioned we felt water dripping from the ceiling and he said the building was old but didn’t offer any compensation. we then had to find someone to get our coats —- no host was at the front at the end of the night.
