We wanted to love this restaurant and were excited to try it for the first time. Unfortunately we had a quite disappointing experience. As a party of 4 we ordered appetizers and also salads, but our salads were simply forgotten. I requested my steak with no salt and pepper, medium well, got it well done with salt. When I requested to remake, asking to please make sure not to add salt, it came out medium well with salt (you could see salt crystals on top of it). great ambience, beautiful restaurant, great service. appetizers were very good - Tuna crodu and beet salad, but the main course- ravioli burrata was recommended by our waiter, was not fresh and too greasy!! I have left the whole dish and not even asked whats wrong with the dish..
Very disappointing
Honestly, it was really random! I was expecting exceptional food like at Hal’s or Chops Lobster Bar but no! Pasta was horrible, tasteless. Lobster in my pasta was over cooked and very chewy. Steak was just ok, nothing impressive. Our waiter didn’t even check on us once to see if we like our food. Not to mention the prices on everything. Overpriced, random, will never ever be back! (Though I am a Brookhaven neighbor). I will rather go spend my buck at Hal’s where the meal is always great!
The steaks were unbelievably undercooked and bad. For being a chop house they were horrible. The hash browns were burnt. And the waiters didn’t understand that you don’t fill a wine glass all the way up
We were in the upstairs bar area this time and it’s got a good vibe busy for a Saturday afternoon. Service was great - attentive, eager to please, good recommendations. Burger came out way over cooked and took awhile to get a replacement. Husband’s steak was perfect but the steak at table next to us was over cooked too. Staff did what they could but seems like kitchen needs some 101. No compensation for the food issues. Server made off hand comment about giving us free dessert but never followed through.
The server was very nice but it took forever for us to get our food. It was only 3 of us and everyone around us that ordered after us got their food before us. I have been here several times before and it has never taken that long to receive the food
Not the original Arnettes. something is off. The food was terrible, service okay. The atmosphere is nice but the chandeliers were dirty. Something was just way off. Won't be back!
We had a nice evening. The food was good and the service was good and then the bill came. They offered sauces that never had a price on them but they did. Then we saw that they charged us $8.00 for bread and butter. That was a real shock. We have eaten at many fine restaurants and have never been charged for bread. Also remove the special occasion from the sight. They give you a candle. Not sure if we will ever go back.
