Never showed up.
They were professional on the phone, but need more estimators. I understand illness can impact scheduling, but double scheduling also occurred.
The workers did not show up with the right kind of cable, so they called Brian Ashpaugh, the owner. They left and Brian came out himself a few days later (going to the back door instead of the front), and it seemed that our house was a big problem. Never provided an estimate.
They were supposed to fix an exterior pole light. We called around 8:30 the morning they were to come to check and make sure they would still come since it was raining. They were supposed to come between 8-12. They said yes, but never showed up. I've worked with them before and was pleased, but I am very disappointed with their lack of responsiveness this time.
One year ago I requested a service call to troubleshoot problems with exterior lights. Someone came promptly and explained the problem. I indicated I wanted to go ahead with the work and was told someone would call to schedule. After three weeks all I had received was a bill for the service call. I called the office and explained the situation. The office assistant had someone call me. They apologized for the confusion and said they would order the parts and then schedule the work. Forget the day they promised to come give estimate, Mr. Aspaugh climbed the ladder to the attic. while standing on the ladder he used a flashlight to see the fan he "supposed" I needed a new one. Never gave me a quote.
We called to request an estimate. They set a time to visit. They never showed up at the scheduled time and we haven't heard anything from them since we originally scheduled the appointment. We hired someone else.
They spent very little time assessing the job before telling me that the only way to run the line was by burying a line outside. This proved to be totally false! Then they provided me with a very high quote and said that their boss would call me to set up a time for the job. No one ever called which was lucky for me because I probably would have went with them. Another company eventually ran a line through the walls of the house at half the price.
