SHODDY WORK! Denise said my roof passed inspection; I returned home to find a FAILED INSPECTION tag. A new contractor noted 3 tiles fell off the roof and said ~20 square feet wasn’t tiled. The friend who regrettably referred me subsequently had a leak in her house and now her roof colors no dot match.
I have been very disappointed with them, From taking my T.V. Dish and saying it never existed , then leaving the wire for it hanging out 3 foot on my second story , Breaking my Solar lights, leaving my hanging baskets sitting in my Drive way. NOT picking up the nails from the shingle removal, Not returning phone calls. Every time you talk to some New person who says " Well I guess ( Blank ) didn't take care of it But I will." If it was a 0 for rating I would choose it because they are the worst people with poor communication, never call you back until days later, representatives need more training, and giving you false information. I had my roof done during hurricane florence. I get a phone call from Aspen thinking my insurance recommended them and to find out they didn't. Door-to-door rep rang doorbell and left brochure despite having no soliciting sign in plain view. Absolutely not acceptable since I work from home and can't afford those disruptions
I had my home resided with the insulated vinyl and absolutely love it and looks amazing. However, was quoted 7-10 days from start to finish depending on weather. Well two and a half months later they finally finished. Two man crew very out of shape and not very professional. They even packed their gear and left for ten days before returning leaving my home stripped of the old vinyl and exposed only with the moisture barrier. We have had issues since October 2018 with our home and have had one excuse after another about why they have not fulfilled their warranty; and of course that's only when we were able to get any contact from the company. We have gone weeks at a time without contact after being told "we will be there next week" or "we will be there tomorrow". Our roof was redone by Aspen in the spring of 2016, we hired Aspen because we know the couple that run the Aspen of Michigan. In hind sight I wish we would have more thoroughly vetted contractors prior to choosing Aspen. Currently have been getting the run around for 4+ months waiting to get the wall of our house fixed, due to a leak caused by improper step flashing around the chimney. What I think of Aspen not as a whole but one individual that works for them.. I hope that its not the practice of aspen but only one rotten egg. A*** ***** that works at the MO office is a lair and theif. He lies , stalls , misinforms and bully's customers on warranty work to try and get out of any claims. He is a thief when it comes to the subcontractors that aspen works with. And i'll add on that he is very un-profesional when talking to contractors.
