I would like to rate it a 2 1/2. When I first started out at Aspen Dental, I would have told anyone about it. In the 6th months that I have been involved with it, there were some very challenging times. Most of the staff is quite friendly, but there were some that I was not impressed with. Almost like they did not believe me when I told them things. With new dentures, someone thought that they should charge me for fixing something that was only less than 6 months old. Mom has a 12:30 appointment. It's almost 1 and they are "still trying to find a room for you". Seriously? Every time I accompany her to this place I am extremely disappointed.
Nothing like getting a call the morning of (8:30am) your appointment and them telling you they are cancelling your appointment(10:00 am) because the won't take my insurance...after having been on the phone with them and my insurance company 3 times prior in the week and Aspen saying everything is all set and they can't wait for us to come in on Saturday.
Before i went my wife already went there a week prior and told me it was horrible. She told me long wait time and an expensive bill even after dental insurance. I decided well maybe it just that one time, i will give them a try. When it comes my day to go everything my wife experienced was true. Appt was not on time. At my first visit I was impressed by the modern equipment used for my x-rays. Also the warm, friendly, professional staff. My examination went well and quite quickly as well. I was informed of my needs that I was suspecting. But I was blown away by what they wanted to charge for the recommendations. I definitely can not afford what they wanted to charge me. I made the appointment to get me teeth cleaned - nothing else. I went for my appointment at 11am and had to wait for twenty minutes. I got my teeth x-rayed then sat in a chair and waited for further assistance. I had an appointment at noon - that allowed 1 hour for the appointment. Never got anything else done as I had to leave. First your going to cancel my appointment because you didn't get a verbal response second I call to find out what the charges would be after insurance and never got a call regarding that. Then to find out I'm not getting my teeth cleaned that you need to visits. Why was this not told to me your gal on the other end was rude and pretty much said it was my fault for not knowing then she said she called a few times but called once blamed corporate office who booked my visit but yet in her own words later said she initially book... read more
