After what seems like 2 years, this Aspen Dental still can’t bill me correctly, to the point that bill collectors have been calling me. Why is it such an ordeal to bill United Concordia? Why am I the one having to constantly follow up and track progress/lack of, instead of Aspen staff just staying on top of it? I could go on and on but.. me being deployed at the moment and trying to get this resolved while over here, with minimal effort (so it seems) from Aspen staff to help me is beyond frustrating.
After insurance paid their part, I was told my part would be 4,700. I was told I have a severe case of gum disease, I needed 9 fillings, 2 crowns and 1 root canal. went to get a second opinion from an honest dentist. I dont have gum disease at all. I only need 2 root canals and 2 crowns and my out of pocket after insurance is 900. I called and reported fraud to my insurance company. They are watching this place because apparently they are doing this to a lot of people. Fraud Fraud Fraud!!!!!!
I am so disgusted with this office. My daughter had an 11:30 appointment. I called from the parking lot at 11:07. ( instructions on the door say to call and someone will come to your vehicle to get you when it is your turn in the not told to enter the building) I kept seeing people just walk in my daughter and I walked in at 11:22. Was told that they would have to reschedule my appointment because I was more than 15 minutes late. The appointment was at 11:30. I am 43 years old and this is literally the first time I have ever even considered leaving a bad review or making a complaint. I am simply not a complainer. With that said, I have never in my life been treated more rudely than I have been at Aspen Dental in Beckley, WV. The dentist has never introduced herself when she came in and she is not nice in any way. I appreciate a doctor that is to the point but this is just plain rude. i have had a horrible experience. i go in November and they put a cap on my tooth it is very painful. Now, i go back today and Im in excruciating pain so i called they said come in at 430. i get in worse pain and I go in early in hopes they can see me sooner. i arrive at 315 at 340 an African American lady comes in and says she's in alot of pain and they rold her to walk in. This place is a joke! My daughter had a dental emergency we was told to come in. We got there they said they couldn’t take her than tried to fit her in after we showed them what was going on. They took my money, did a 10 min X-ray after sitting there an hour to be told they won’t take her today and that it wasn’t an emergency. That it would be a while til she got in. Went to another dental office in Fayetteville same day they took her no problems and said it was an emergency. Don’t waste your time.!
This place is a joke, I went for a toothache and went through 2 hrs of test and then they wanted to do things to me that didn’t even have anything to do with my toothache, wanting 1,000 of dollars, then when I said no they said well you will have to go to a oral surgeon to get it pulled. Also very unfriendly staff and doesn’t explain anything just start do x rays and other things. Would not recommend them to anyone.
