Did not pickup when said, 2 days late, did not arrive when said. Never should of taken car if going to east coast when we were on west coast. Communication was bad w/ co. Had to buy clothes and w/0 transportation for 2 days. Non-professional

One of your team members called me while I was being examined in the hospital saying there was a carrier ready to pick up the Hyundai going to St Louis, BUT it would now cost another $100. I said no. My wife then came to my hospital room & I told her about the Montway call. She said it was not fair to her sister & brother-in-law to make them wait for another carrier. It's been over 2 months since I shipped my car and I'm getting 5 emails a day from some Denise working there asking if I want to ship my car. I unsubcribed, I've called them to complain. What did they do? They put my ad up again on some website and now I'm getting calls from different companies too. They should be shut down. Denise fired. i will never recommend this place to anyone. I got a quote from Montway to transport my car, accepted it, and paid them their deposit. They confirmed in writing. It's been almost two weeks and still no shipment. Now they say that they have a carrier ready to pick up my car but I would have to pay them 40% more than their quote. My point of view is that they gave a quote, I agreed and paid them, and they made a commitment to deliver my car for the amount they quoted. Because the goal is to get a carrier assigned to transport the vehicle, we offer every transport option to the customer. It is the customer’s decision whether to proceed with that option or not. I was extremely upset about the pickup driver who came with one lady in his truck, he rushed me so much that I couldn’t take much picture of my car, he wanted me to sign the document without any delay. He was extremely rude and unprofessional person and rather I got very scared about my brand new 2019 Audi Q5. They would be getting negative stars if i had the option. I have never used a transporter before and I relied on these reviews to choose Montway for my shipping services. Unfortunately I got the raw end of the deal after everything was said and done. I spoke to the Montway reps at least three or four times before committing to using them for their services. I was assured that in the event that something would go wrong I would have a team from Montway that would assist me in alleviating any issues. This was the farthest from ... read more

If you like to be ignored and lied to, this is your company! Turned my car over for transport on 2 Jan 20, charged for next-day shipment, then after repeated calls, they picked up the car 8-days later. Delivered on time? Not a prayer... but they did take the opportunity to lie to me some more on when the car would arrive. Montway Auto Transport should be ashamed of themselves to boast that they "deliver your vehicle and peace of mind". My experience was extremely stressful and deeply frustrating. I booked an enclosed transport 6-weeks in advance of my intended ship date and provided one-week pick-up window. At the end of the week, they still had not found a carrier and I had a flight out the next day. I asked a Montway Supervisor what would happen if they failed to arrange a carrier before my flight?
