do not trust Montway. they are not insured. i am dealing with damage in transport. i keep hearing... it's not my fault. they are not being helpful.
Looking to ship a car from Las Vegas to San Francisco, I reached out to Montway after reading so many five star reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have that experience at all. I called Montway to inquire about the possibility of using them because the carrier I had already signed with was having difficulty getting a driver to pick up my car. Montway gave me a quote and I told them to give me a week and if the other carrier could not get my car, I would call them to make the contract. Based upon my experience with Montway, I now describe their strategy as one of "bait and switch": Initially, they get your business by matching other competitive bids. this company is a joke. quoted me a price and dragged their heals for 2 plus weeks until 4 days until the car needed to me moved and gave me a new price over 60+% higher. the old bait and switch, hoping i would bite by waiting until last minute to contact me. would NEVER DEAL WITH COMPANY.

Please use another broker. Montway charges your credit card without confirming with you. Other brokers I have used contact me and confirm everything before charging their fee. Montway will charge you and then say it is their policy not to refund. Other brokers are more reputable and much less expensive than Montway.

I used Montway August 2018. They moved my car over Labor Day weekend; I was a bit reticent but they assured me that drivers would be working that day and that the driver would be in contact with me to let me know within half a day as when they would be delivering my car and things. The opposite happened; I knew that delivery wasn't at an assured time, but my car was FINALLY delivered almost 2 days late. Why you waited TWO Years to ask for a review is beyond me, unless you think I forgot the negatives. Communications were just ok. seemed like he did not know when he would be where. Delivery ended up at a truck stop, not my residense. 18 wheelers made several deliveries on my street the week he delivered. Hassle that was not expected, nore appreciated. Car arrived as shipped. next time I will probably look for a different carrier.

Ordered through Montway. Still waiting for my car. My first pick up date was July 2, it’s July 17. Still no car. The carrier they chose is a nightmare “No Limit Transportation Inc”. They keep delaying my delivery with NO logical reason. They refuse to give me a discount and threaten to storage my car.
