Completely unethical service business. Quoted $1,100 for a transport, I ordered and confirmed payment with card for $1,100 (order number 866561) . After 8 days I receieved zero communication and finally reached out. I was then told that the new price was $1699 because "rates have changed", which is an outrageous difference in price from quote. Stay away~!!! Drive stole my license Plate . Karine R told me driver checked my car before shipping and there was no license plate BUT Thank god~!!! i took a photo, when they are loading my car to the trailer. Karine R lied to me before i show her these photos... She told me she will send me a check for inconvenience, but i never received a check from them. 0 Star. Service and dishonest people. Paid to have a vehicle i purchased out of state transported enclosed and they ended up transporting the vehicle open. The vehicle was received filthy not to mention that it took an excessive amount of effort to get compensated any portion of the difference which was still not a fair amount in the end. I can not recommend Montway as I did not receive the service that I had paid for and overpaid for an open transport service.

The office saw my Ferrari sitting in an apartment complex with plates belonging to a dodge truck. The employee came out from his apartment and denied driving it. This company doesn't even deserve a one star. That said BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. They are the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I made the mistake of hiring them and it caused nothing but headaches. First of all they are BROKERS and hire other people to move your car, this means they have ZERO control of where and when your car will be delivered. This was my first experience with a car transport company. And because I live in a very small town I was apprehensive of the delivery service. However, my car was picked up in Florida & delivered to western South Dakota in a timely and professional manner. I will definitely use Montway again should the need arise.
PREFACE: I will be contacting BBB about this specific company. This company is absolute TRASH. They do not employ the truck drivers. It's based on who is in the area. I happen to live on Cape Cod which apparently, is "out of the way". This was made known to my husband and I two days BEFORE we have to leave state to move. At which point I would be abandoning my vehicle- Montway could not GUARANTEE that it would be picked up. Simple review, was quoted low on an unpopular route, was jerked along saying that they were "trying their best" for more than a week until my options were to upgrade my service (double the price) or go somewhere else. Went with Road Runner who had a driver immediately.
Terrible company. No communication. No one calls you back. I had to use "chat" to get in touch with anyone. Every time the person I "chatted" with said a company representative would contact me shortly. The NEVER called me back. Never after multiple inquiries and after 5 days. I tried 5 times to find out where my vehicle was and they didn't help me at all. They gave me the run around.
