Booked a table during our visit to the Christmas markets. Mentioned on booking that it was my daughters 18th Birthday, the server brought her a free glass of champagne over and we had a lovely table by the window. I had the chicken and ham hough pie, it looked huge! But it was delicious, full of meat and not filled with gravy. My husband had the pork and daughter had fish n chips. All loved it! Would definitely return.
Had a lovely meal and the service was good and very friendly staff. It's Christmas so very busy and noisy but just added to the ambiance
Went for breakfast and the ingredients were locally sourced as excellent quality. Very tasty. The staff were very personable and friendly. The only slight bl negative was we had a little wait for our food.
Food was good. A lovely pub/restaurant. Very winter cosy and festive. Unfortunately service let the experience down however understand at this time of year they were extremely busy.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and attentive staff, service was a bit slow but that wasn’t due to the staff just the lack of them! Would defiantly visit again. Would have liked to have known a bit more about the history of the place too, it’s a selling point but didnt appear to be referenced on the menu etc at all

Everything was great including ambiance and service but my friend was served the PARMESAN GNOCCHI main. It was many very small round balls of gnocchi in breadcrumbs (from freezer?) on dry rocket with a few chunks of mozzarella which were not melted - no sauce or dressing ! Really terrible presentation and dry dry dry! I recommended Badger as I’ve been before! Disappointed!
