We booked lunch for 13:30 and when we arrived the restaurant was veey busy. We were told there was a brunch offer and lots of people were booked for that. I feel the restaurant wasnt adequately staffed to meeting this demand. We founds the service to be quite slow. We ordered the seafood platter to share as a starter. When it arrived some of the tempura was cold (prawns and squid) and we didn't receive the mayonnaise dip, we had to ask for the dip and waited a further 5 mins. Really great atmosphere & good choice of food although the cheese board was very disappointing and very pricey for what we got. While the staff were very friendly & we were provided with menus & drinks immediately It was very busy & we had to go and find a waiter later on when we wanted more drinks. However other than that the food was lovely & we would certainly recommend.
Really good food. Server was friendly and very good at her job, but she was responsible for the whole room and couldn’t possibly keep up. It really slowed things down and we were there for much longer than expected.
As a wind in the willows fan this place was a must see. The food was amazing the atmosphere was lovely and the service was fab

Very nice ambiance and great location. Good menu with lots of options. Lovely decor and stylish interior. However temperature far too cold to be sitting about and beautiful radiators clearly just there for show. Turn the heat up please!
Food was really fresh and tasty. The mimosas were well made too. Overall really good value and nice. Service was a bit slow but we were in no rush so it wasn't an issue.
Been for drinks many times but first time for lunch. Haddock and chips were delicious, best I have had in a very long time.
Gnocchi was alright. The ambience and decor are beautiful
