Service slow, waiter apologised in advance as a big group were downstairs. Table legs made sitting uncomfortable. Also a group of 8 Dutch guys came in and were very loud. Food portions not large in fact disappointing. Lacked veg / potatoes venison nice. Value ok. Wouldn’t rush back sadly.

unfortunately was rather disappointed with service which was pretty slow scallops were overcooked and quite rubbery(they removed from bill) and although my fish was lovely the chips were cold. they did provide replacement ambiebce was lovely

One of my favourite places to eat but I have to say I’m not a fan of the new menu particularly the mains selection. Some come with potatoes/fries and some don’t. Very odd. However, staff are super friendly and efficient.

Nice place, good beers, friendly service. We just went in for drinks but there is no N/A option for the food so marked it 4 as what we saw going out looked nice.

We loved the atmosphere and as librarians, we relished the Wind in the Willows theme. Very attentive service and pretty quiet.

This is a beautiful restaurant and the food was stunning - well presented and absolutely delicious. Staff are lovely, professional and friendly & this is a lovely restaurant for both families, couples or friends. We would have given 5 stars for everything if the service had been a bit quicker - if you’re not in a rush, happy to wait a while between drinks & food, then would highly recommend.
