ive been a customer with nissan for over 12 years. while the pathfinders and moranos i found to be great cars i find the quality of customer statisfaction stinks. i have gone to 2 nissan dealers. the incetives given is like trying to squeeze a lemon that has no juice left. both dealers gave me quality incetives after much haggling. the monthly payments, according to bay ridge claims they will beat any price was false because kings had a cheaper price only if i went with a certain finance company which has a bad reputation. i... read more
Very horrible experience overall I bought the 2011 Juke, came in on Friday paid cash downpayment and insurance fees at 9am car was in showroom, they didn't take it out until 2pm. They were supposed to detail it and give me add on they didn't, car was not picked up until 5:30pm with nothing done as promised lucky I got the plates. Drove 2 1/2 hours sat for 5 hours and left thinking I got a good deal, signed paper work by manager and myself for the vehicle. Three days later was told that they could not sell me the vehicle because they could not get the check engine light off. This was a lie, I found out that they sold the vehicle to some one else, even though I had a signed contract for this vehicle. I tried to buy a new car. They tried to screw me. People want to sell you everything for top money but not what you want to buy and not for the money you agreed on the first place. Be prepared, you have to fight scam: salesperson-manager-financial officer. The best way is leaving before you opened a door. I am sorry I left a little later but still happy that I saved my money and got much better deal in NJ.
its funny how the last few reviews are almost perfect 5's. nice try to cover up your poor reputation by submitting fake reviews. almost everyone i know has had a terrible experience with bay ridge nissan (20+ people). whether it was in sales or service, bay ridge nissan will try to rip you off as much as they can. they'll pretend to know what theyre talking about so do your research first and go to them and you'll get contradicting details. i brought my suv in recently for service and dealt with service manager rod spodar. t... read more
This dealership is a fraud. Paul, in finance, falsified the odometer on my lease contract. He indicated that I picked up the car with only 20 miles when in reality it had 4000 because it was a demo. When confronted he said, "its your word against mine!" Ive never heard of such a comment. THe salesman is a liar. Did everything backwards. Brought in my Altima because my Service Engine Soon light was on. I already knew the diagnostic code since I went to a trustworthy mechanic beforehand. So Bay Ridge Nissan spent 2.5 hours (when they initially said it would only take 1-1.5 hour) to tell me what I already knew and on top of that, they gave me a list of recommended items. CROOKS, THEIFS and LIARS At first I thought I was getting quality customer service from an honest, trust-worthy dealer, but unfortunately I was wrong. These people are liars and con-artists, and very good ones too. I advise you not to do business with them. My worst dealership experience ever.
