Ugh. I am am avid Yelp user....and yet I didnt look up Bel before we bought and I sure wish I had. Purchase was scheduled to be delivered today between 2 and 6. Well it is 6:48...no furniture and nothing but attitude from Nick the manager. I will definitely be contacting their corporate office tomorrow. Although judging by these reviews, they probably don't care. This review is based solely on customer service as I still havent received my furniture. What a disappointment.
Please stay away from this company. Bought a sectional with 4 recliners in it. It showed up and was not the right color. Then two weeks later one of the recliners broke. It took 2 weeks for someone to come and look at it to tell me they could not fix it and we needed to exchange it. Another two weeks past and the new one the brought out was already broken. I went to pick out a new sofa and they would not price match. They tried to charge a delivery fee?!? On top of it all they wouldn't deliver for another two weeks... read more
Yelp is the most reliable for reviews, yet I still made the mistake of making a purchase from this place without reading the reviews first. When we interact and make purchases we have an expectation of the person (s) you are doing business with to respect your time, respect you as are not here human ,and certainly respect the money I am choosing to spend with you. This is absolutely the worst Furniture store in Webster and the Clear Lake area. I bought a day bed and wanted to use regular mattresses. The salesman convinced me that the tempurpedic mattress in the childrens section fit the daybed better. I asked him several times if that tempurpedic was hot to sleep on. We went there to buy a sofa set for our new home in the Black Friday Sale event. The sale associate was VERY nice and helpful, our experience with him was very good with great conversations. However that is the reason I gave this place 1 star. The problem was the shipping was confirmed to us (and written on the receipt) was Tuesday the following week and I had to took a day off to wait for the furniture. Went in, a few months back, to purchase a new couch and loveseat. After some confusion during checkout (they couldn't seem to get the account information correct), we finally got the items paid for (in full) and set up a delivery date. I took off of work to be there for the delivery. After more confusion, and Bel Furniture screwing up the account information/delivery date, I finally got them to deliver the furniture. I was happy with the selection of furniture they have and my family even purchased a bedroom set from here for me. But it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with the first salesperson that was extremely rude, and when we went back and spoke to someone nicer, I've had nothing but trouble with the delivery side. I will never buy furniture from here again just based on this experience, I'm losing time at work right now because I'm waiting for furniture to arrive. Please for your sake never do business with them they don't even deserve a star they are the rudest people. I spent over 2K on furniture there they kept sending me damaged furniture. The coffee table was broken and my couch was ripped. 5 seperate occasions they tried to bring me a new couch they kept getting it wrong. We bought a gorgeous sectional the end of 2014(Delivered Dec 29) and paid for the 5 year Guardian warranty. Within the year warranty, the pull for the middle recliner broke. We called the store but they were not answering due to floods. So we called the Houston location and they were great about sending someone out within a week. They replaced the pull at no cost.
